Vestibular Rehabilitation

Licensed Physical Therapists at Morris Hospital are trained to treat a variety of vestibular diagnoses. Vestibular conditions are characterized by feelings of dizziness, room spinning, nausea and feeling of being off balance.

Common vestibular diagnoses include:

  • Dizziness
  • Vertigo
  • Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo – BPPV is characterized by sudden onset of brief dizzy spells triggered by head positions and movement.

If you have complaints of dizziness, please get a referral from your physician for physical therapy. Your licensed physical therapist will develop a personalized plan of care based on your history and symptoms.
