As a family nurse practitioner, Ashley Blough is qualified to serve as the primary health care provider for patients of all ages and is an excellence resource for routine check-ups, physicals, immunizations, preventive medicine, illness and injuries, and acute and chronic conditions. Her family nurse practitioner certificate allows her to order and interpret diagnostic tests, diagnose disease, provide appropriate treatments, and prescribe medications. She has particular interest in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, diabetes and heart failure.

Born in Harvey, Ill., Ashley received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of St. Francis in Joliet and worked for six years as a registered nurse before obtaining her master’s degree in nursing from Governors State University in University Park, Ill. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

A family nurse practitioner since 2016, Ashley says her goal is to build strong relationships with patients through compassion, understanding and trust.

Dr. Thomas encourages patients to have autonomy and a voice in all decision-making related to their care.

Dr. Thomas received her medical degree from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield and completed a family medicine residency at Adventist Hinsdale Hospital. She also completed a primary care psychiatry fellowship through UC Davis in 2018 and is the Medical Director of Integrated Care at Morris Hospital. She is board certified in family medicine and addiction medicine.

When she’s not taking care of patients, Dr. Thomas enjoys cooking, art, and reading. She is married to Mark Thomas, who teaches at Minooka Community High School.

ANGELA TODD, F.N.P.

As a family nurse practitioner, Angela Todd is qualified to serve as the primary healthcare provider for patients ranging in age from newborn to seniors. She holds a Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate, allowing her to diagnose and treat both acute and chronic health conditions. She is also able to order and interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe medications. Angela has a passion for working with pediatric patients as well as practicing women’s health.

Angela received her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in nursing from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Ill. She has more than 13 years of experience as a registered nurse in the Morris Hospital Emergency Department. She is certified in advanced cardiac life support, pediatric advanced life support, and basic life support.

Angela believes in encompassing the holistic needs of every patient with an individualized plan of care. She is dedicated to instilling trust and compassion while striving to provide optimal outcomes and culturally sensitive care.

Kathy received her Master’s of Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Olivet Nazarene University. She also holds of Master’s of Nursing in Education from Lewis University. Kathy is also a certified diabetic educator, an oncology certified nurse, and she is board certified in pain management.

Kathy enjoys spending time with family and friends, teaching, reading, and volunteering.

PREPARING FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT

For your convenience, we suggest that you download and complete our Healthcare Centers – General Patient Registration Form before coming in for your office visit.

Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your appointment time to complete registration and a health questionnaire.

When you come for your appointments, please remember to bring the following:

  • Driver’s License or a valid ID
  • Insurance information
  • Referral Letter (if required)
  • Reports, X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, etc. and any other relevant information
  • List of medications (if any)
