As a board-certified family medicine physician, Dr. Colin Kao provides primary care for patients of all ages. In addition to diagnosing and treating illness, Dr. Kao provides a wide range of care, including preventive care, routine check-ups, health risk assessments, immunizations, screening tests, and personalized counseling on maintaining a healthy lifestyle. He has specific interest in sports medicine, preventive medicine and immunizations.
Dr. Kao received his medical degree from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa, and completed a residency in family medicine at the University of Wyoming Family Practice Program in Cheyenne, Wy. He also completed a fellowship in sports medicine at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and an internship at Des Moines General Hospital.
He is board certified in Family Medicine and Sports Medicine. When he’s not taking care of patients, he enjoys hiking and biking with his family.

As a family nurse practitioner, Nina Seplak is qualified to serve as the primary care health care provider for patients of all ages. She holds a Family Nurse Practitioner certificate, allowing her to order and interpret diagnostic tests, diagnose disease, provide appropriate treatments and prescribe medications.
Nina has worked for more than 14 years as a nurse and has worked as a nurse practitioner since 2017. She completed her master’s degree in nursing at Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, Ky. and had previously acquired her associate’s degree in nursing at Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute in Hudson, N.C.
Nina is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
