Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers is seeking a Full-Time Advanced Practice Provider (1.0FTE), who has proficient suturing/stapling skills and at least 1-year of direct APP experience. Must submit CV as well as provide skill assessment form after applying. Position is located in Morris, IL within our Diagnostic & Rehab Center where Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation services reside, as well as PT/OT/SLP. Lab and X-Ray are on site; advanced imaging is available at the hospital, which is 3min down the road. Covid-19 PCR testing, plus swab/fingerstick, urine, blood glucose and hemoglobin testing done onsite. Double coverage is scheduled when volumes increase, especially during flu season months, e.g. 40+patients daily. Non-flu season volumes are upper 20s. OccMed work would be less than 10%.
DRC, Immediate Care Center
- Requirements include: BLS, PALS, ACLS & certifications (all through AHA), ability to read radiographs (initial reads only – with radiologist support)
- Being comfortable with all ages is required. Ages less than 3 y/o are 5% of Urgent Care volumes.
- Have a consistent on-going 2-week schedule, e.g. work (5) 12-hour shifts & (2) 7-hour shifts. No overnight obligations since public hours of urgent cares are 8am-7pm M-F and 8am-2pm Sa-Su, yet you’re paid 12hrs/7hrs, respectively.
- Schedules are managed effectively with SlingApp; know schedule months/year in advance
- Holidays: Locations are closed on Christmas, New Year’s & Thanksgiving Day. Open from 8am-2pm on Christmas Eve, New Years’ Eve, Memorial Day, 4th of July & Labor Day.
- Medical records are fully automated using Meditech (IMC) and Agility (OccMed).
