Follows the guidelines of the law and the professional regulations within the fire service. ILFFPS will provide a safe, non-judgmental and confidential environment where members can engage in a healing conversation with a peer. ILFFPS is made up of fire service and EMS members just like you.

Panic Disorder Information Hotline:
1-800-64-PANIC This number is available to those in crisis, as well as those who are just seeking more information about the disorder. For many who experience panic attacks, it can be helpful to speak to someone who understands what they are going through during an attack. The compassionate staff at the panic disorder hotline can provide information about what happens during an attack and provide tips to help get through the attack.

North Central Behavioral Health System has “walk in Wednesdays” from 9 am to 4 pm at the La Salle, Ottawa, Canton and Macomb locations. The public can walk in with no appointment necessary.
National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI)
NAMI has free, peer-support services for people living with a mental health concern, and family/friends.
