Joseph Kokoszka, M.D., General Surgeon, Colon & Rectal Surgeon
Dr. Joseph Kokoszka is a graduate of Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine. He completed a residency in general surgery at University of Illinois Chicago and a fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at Cook County Hospital.
Dr. Kokoszka performs many of his surgical procedures using laparoscopic (minimally invasive) surgery. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery.

Bo Wang, D.O., General Surgeon
Dr. Bo Wang earned his medical degree from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University in Downers Grove. He completed a five-year general surgery residency at Franciscan Health Olympia Fields where he received extensive training in minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery and robotic surgery.
At Morris Hospital, Dr. Wang performs many of his surgical cases using da Vinci robotic-assisted surgery. Along with providing excellent surgical care, Dr. Wang is committed to patient education and taking time to explain “the big picture” to patients before an upcoming surgery or procedure.

Brian Winkleman, M.D., General Surgeon, Minimally Invasive Surgeon
Dr. Brian Winkleman is a graduate of Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed a residency in general surgery at The Ohio State University and a fellowship in minimally invasive surgery at The Ohio State University.
Dr. Winkleman specializes in laparoscopic and robotic procedures including gallbladder removal, hernia repair, small bowel and colon surgery, appendix removal, and excision of skin lesions and soft tumors. At Morris Hospital, Dr. Winkleman performs many of his surgical cases using da Vinci robotic-assisted surgery. He also performs upper endoscopy and colonoscopy. Dr. Winkleman is board certified by the American Board of Surgery.

Jessica Jackson, Physician Assistant
Jessica Jackson is a physician assistant who supports the general surgeons as a first assist during surgical cases and procedures. She completed her undergraduate degree at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and physician assistant studies at Midwestern University in Downers Grove.

Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your appointment time to complete registration and a health questionnaire. If you are a new patient, please arrive 30 minutes ahead of your scheduled appointment time.
When you come for your appointments, please remember to bring the following:
- Driver’s License or a valid ID
- Insurance information
- Referral Letter (if required)
