Road construction temporarily changes traffic flow at Morris Hospital

April 27, 2020, MORRIS, IL – Construction on Lisbon Street will impact traffic flow around Morris Hospital’s main campus.

The City of Morris is proceeding with a road improvement project on Lisbon Street, which runs immediately west of the Morris Hospital main campus at 150 West High Street. As of Monday, April 27, the intersection of High Street and Lisbon Street will be closed for at least two weeks due to underground work.

Those who are driving to Morris Hospital from the north or west should turn left on Waverly Street and then right on Edwards Street. Detour signs will be in place to redirect people trying to access the hospital’s emergency department and main entrances.
