As a board-certified reconstructive foot and ankle surgeon with Morris Hospital Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, Dr. Kyle Pearson treats patients of all ages experiencing common to advanced foot and ankle issues with both non-surgical and surgical treatment procedures. Dr. Pearson developed The Foot and Ankle Institute in 2014 to provide patients with a local center of excellence for foot and ankle surgery/podiatry care. Comprehensive podiatry services offered through the Foot and Ankle Institute include on-site physical therapy, and, when required, surgery.

A board-certified reconstructive foot and ankle surgeon, Dr. Kyle Pearson treats adults and children with common to advanced foot and ankle problems using both non-surgical and surgical treatment procedures. His goal is to get patients back on their feet as safely and as soon as possible.

Dr. Pearson received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Des Moines University, College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in 2011 and completed his residency in foot and ankle surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in 2014.

His advanced training in foot and ankle surgery includes, but is not limited to: foot and ankle reconstruction, mid-foot and hind-foot fusion, ankle arthroscopy, total ankle replacement, tendon transfers and repair, wound healing, external fixation, and diabetic limb salvage.

Dr. Pearson is also part of the teaching faculty for the KSB Foot and Ankle Residency Program. He lectures both locally and nationally at scientific conferences, is a peer reviewer for multiple foot and ankle journals, and sits on multiple boards including the Illinois Podiatric Medical Association Board of Directors.

In his free time, Dr. Pearson enjoys spending time with his wife and their three young children. For fun and relaxation, he likes to run, golf, ski, travel, hunt and spend time outdoors.

HOW DO I SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT?

To schedule an appointment, please call 815-942-4875 (Morris) or 815-433-0850 (Ottawa) or 815-741-4000 (Joliet).

HOW DO I PREPARE FOR MY APPOINTMENT?

Before your appointment, please go to our Forms Center and download and complete the Healthcare Centers – General Patient Registration Form. 

Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your appointment time to complete registration and a health questionnaire.

When you come for your appointments, please remember to bring the following:

  • Driver’s License or a valid ID
  • Insurance information
  • Referral Letter (if required)
  • Reports, X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, etc. and any other relevant information
  • List of medications (if any)

We recognize that your time is valuable, and we make every effort to stay on schedule. Occasionally emergencies or patients require a little more time and may cause delays beyond our control. We apologize if we keep you waiting.

WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT?

If you need to cancel an appointment, please call the office during business hours at least 1 day prior to your scheduled appointment so that we can offer your appointment time to patients on our waiting list.

HOW DO I ACCESS THE PATIENT PORTAL?

We are pleased to offer a patient portal that gives you access to all of your health information, test results, office visit summaries and appointments associated with Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers. You can also use your portal to request medication refills, message your Morris Hospital Healthcare Center provider, and pay Morris Hospital bills. Please follow this link to My Health@Morris Hospital for more information, including how to enroll.

(If you have a Physician Office portal account (Healow app), please note that we made the transition to one patient portal on April 1, 2023. While your Physician Office portal will still be available for viewing for a limited time, no new information will be added to this portal beginning April 1.
