Led by a registered dietitian, this class will focus on healthy eating, physical activity and lifestyle behaviors that help prevent or delay the development of diabetes. Everyone is welcome to attend the class, as more than 1 in every 3 Americans has prediabetes, which places an individual at increased risk of developing heart disease, stroke and diabetes. Of those with prediabetes, 90 percent don’t know they have it.
