Billing & Insurance
Billing & InsuranceTo help patients meet their financial obligations, Morris Hospital files an insurance claim as a courtesy to patients. To do this efficiently, patients must present accurate and complete insurance information at the time of registration. A patient representative from the hospital is available to assist patients with questions about private insurance, Medicare, public aid and other payment issues.
The hospital bill covers the cost of your room, meals, 24-hour nursing care, laboratory work, tests, medication, therapy, and the services of hospital employees. Patients receive a separate bill from any physicians involved in their care.
The hospital is responsible for submitting bills to the patient's iinsurance company and will do everything possible to expedite the claim.
