Annual Golf Outing & Bridge/Euchre Tournaments
The Morris Hospital Auxiliary has postponed our annual Golf Outing and Bridge/Euchre Tournament scheduled for Monday, May 13, 2013 at the Morris Country Club. The event has been rescheduled for Monday, September 23, 2013. The times and event schedule will remain the same for the new date.
Guests are invited to golf, play cards, or come for a casual pig roast dinner, with all proceeds benefitting the Morris Hospital LifeLine and Patient Transportation programs.
The day begins with golf registration and lunch served from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. At noon, golfers will head out on the links for 18 holes of golf. Bridge and Euchre tournaments will begin at 2 p.m. in the clubhouse. All participants, as well as guests from the community are invited to a buffet-style pig roast dinner at 5 p.m. The dinner program will include a brief awards reception as well as raffle drawings.
Sponsorships with varying benefits are available at the following levels: $5,000 “Top Flite”, $2,500 “Eagle”, $1,000 “Driver”, and $500 for a hole sponsorship. U.S. Bank has already claimed a “Top Flite” sponsorship with a lead gift to the event. The cost for 18 holes of golf, lunch and hors d’oeuvres is $150 per person or $540 for a foursome. Registration for bridge and euchre is $30 per person and includes dinner. Individual tickets for the casual pig roast are also available for $25. A cash bar will also be available.
Patient Transportation and Lifeline both provide vital services to the communities served by Morris Hospital. The Patient Transportation Service offers complimentary transportation to and from healthcare appointments, having provided more than 17,000 rides last year alone. Lifeline® is an emergency response system with over 520 local subscribers that provides instant access to emergency assistance and peace-of-mind for individuals who live alone.
